Vullnet Nura Group
Full brand identity and guidelines delivered for a GTA commercial renovation contractor with a decade of invisible experience, now ready to win clients independently.
OVERVIEW
ILS Cabinets, operating under the Vullnet Nura Group, is a high-performance commercial renovation contractor specialising in interior execution, millwork, and installation across the GTA. With over a decade of delivered projects and a reputation built entirely through one partner relationship, the business had no brand and no way to attract independent clients. SA Media, in collaboration with Progress Group, delivered a complete brand identity system: research document, full brand guidelines with logo, color system, typography, visual elements, and a positioning strategy built around deadline-first execution.
THE BRIEF
ILS had exceptional execution capability, a strong track record, and thousands of completed projects. But it was entirely invisible. Every client came through a single partner channel. There was no professional identity to put in front of a general contractor, property manager, or procurement lead who had never met Vullnet in person. The mandate: build a brand that communicated reliability, deadline execution, and zero-headache delivery before any conversation even began, and give it the visual and strategic infrastructure to stand behind it.
OUR APPROACH
- 01
Brand research, market analysis, and positioning. We analysed the commercial renovation contractor market across four competitor categories: small-to-mid contractors, millwork shops, large general contractors, and specialist subcontractors. The research identified a consistent gap: most contractors competed on price or capacity, not professionalism and deadline accountability. VNG's positioning was built around four core values: Accountability (scaling manpower to protect every deadline), Transparency (no-drama communication), Excellence (professional and structured site environment), and Reliability (systems of a large firm with the flexibility of a specialist).
- 02
Two B2B buyer personas built for the commercial market. We developed two primary buyer personas: Daniel, a commercial renovation project manager in the GTA who is deadline-obsessed and risk-averse and needs a contractor who communicates proactively and owns problems without escalating them, and Sarah, a vendor coordinator who needs clear scope, professional documentation, and credibility fast. Every brand decision was anchored to how it would land with both.
- 03
Full brand guidelines: logo, color, typography, and visual system. We delivered complete brand guidelines covering the logomark, logotype, and full logo lockup for use across construction sites, uniforms, trucks, and digital. The primary color system is built on high-contrast black and red with structured supporting neutrals. Typography was set for maximum clarity across professional and construction contexts. Photography direction, corporate asset templates, and application guidelines were included to ensure consistency across every touchpoint.
- 04
Brand voice built for a construction context. The VNG brand voice was defined across four attributes: Confidence (self-assured, track-record-led, no hype), Solution-Focused (always oriented toward the next step, never dwelling on problems), Structured and Bold (language that works on a construction site, a procurement document, and a brand kit), and Ownership (speaking with the authority of someone who takes full responsibility for the finish line).

SA Media understood our vision faster than any firm I have worked with. The brand development process was tight, and the content strategy has been running itself since day one.
