Accessibility
Statement

How we make samedia.io usable for everyone, and how to tell us when it is not.

Last updated: November 2026

Our commitment

SA Media is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the standard referenced by the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and widely adopted internationally.

We treat accessibility as an ongoing responsibility, not a one-time project, and review new pages and features against it before they go live.

What we have done

Measures in place on samedia.io include:

  • Automated accessibility testing (axe) of key pages on desktop and mobile, with the issues found fixed.
  • Text colour contrast raised to meet WCAG AA, including deeper shades of our brand colours on light backgrounds.
  • A “Skip to main content” link, a declared page language, and semantic headings and landmarks for screen reader navigation.
  • Every interactive element, including horizontally scrolling areas, reachable and usable by keyboard.
  • Animations reduced for visitors who set “reduce motion” in their operating system, and looping carousels that pause on hover or keyboard focus.
  • Larger touch targets for footer links.

Known limitations

Some content is provided by third parties and is outside our direct control, including embedded maps, the Calendly scheduling page, and social media platforms we link to. Some older images, videos, and case study media may not yet have complete text alternatives or captions.

If any part of the site is difficult to use, please tell us. We will provide the information another way and prioritise the fix.

Accessible formats and communication supports

On request, we will provide information on this website, including our policies, proposals, and documents, in an accessible format or with communication supports, at no additional cost and in a timely manner that takes your needs into account.

Feedback

We welcome feedback on the accessibility of samedia.io. Email info@samedia.io with the subject line “Accessibility”, telling us the page and the problem you found. Feedback can also be given through any of our team members in whatever way works best for you.

We aim to acknowledge feedback within two business days and to explain how we will address it.
