01

Design, build, and deploy automation workflows that eliminate manual processes, reduce operational overhead, and create measurable efficiency gains for SA Media clients and internal teams.

02

Integrate diverse platforms including CRMs, marketing tools, databases, payment systems, and communication channels using APIs, webhooks, and middleware platforms.

03

Map existing client workflows, identify bottlenecks and manual touchpoints, and architect automation solutions that are scalable, reliable, and easy to maintain.

04

Work closely with the strategy, account, and engineering teams to translate client requirements into technical automation specifications and deliver on agreed timelines.

05

Build and maintain data pipeline automations that move, transform, and synchronise information across systems in real time or on scheduled intervals.

06

Test and validate automated workflows rigorously to ensure accuracy, error handling, and resilience under real-world conditions.

07

Monitor live automations, respond to failures or edge cases, and iterate quickly to improve reliability and performance over time.

08

09

Contribute to internal automation tooling that improves SA Media team productivity, from reporting and onboarding to client delivery and billing workflows.

10

Research and evaluate new automation platforms, integration tools, and AI-powered workflow capabilities to keep SA Media ahead of what the market offers.

FAQ

Your questions, answered

01

Is this role fully remote?

Yes. This is a fully remote position open to candidates globally. You will need to be available during core collaboration hours and deliver consistent, reliable output across ongoing client and internal projects.

02

What does the compensation look like?

Compensation is competitive with a strong base and performance incentives tied to the quality and impact of the systems you build. We reward engineers who ship things that work and hold up under real-world conditions.

03

What kinds of automation projects will I work on?

You will build workflow automations for SA Media clients across real estate, fintech, hospitality, luxury, and professional services. Projects include CRM automation, lead routing, reporting pipelines, platform integrations, client onboarding flows, and internal operational tooling.

04

Do I need to know how to code?

A basic working knowledge of Python or JavaScript is expected for handling logic and data transformations that go beyond no-code tools. You do not need to be a senior software engineer, but you must be comfortable reading, writing, and debugging scripts as part of your workflow.

05

Which automation platforms does SA Media use?

We primarily use n8n, Make, and Zapier depending on the client context and complexity of the workflow. We also build custom integrations directly against APIs where the use case demands it. Adaptability across platforms matters more than expertise in any single tool.

06

How quickly does SA Media move?

Fast. We do not have unnecessary approval layers or bureaucratic delays. If you identify a better approach or spot an inefficiency worth fixing, you raise it and we act on it. Engineers who ship reliably and think proactively gain responsibility quickly.

07

Will I have direct access to the founder and leadership?

Yes. SA Media is a firm where leadership is accessible and actively involved. You will work closely with Saim Abbasi and the senior team. There are no unnecessary layers of management between you and the people making decisions.

08

What is the culture like?

Results-driven but genuinely supportive. We care about what actually gets built and deployed, not optics or activity for its own sake. There is no micromanagement, no politics, and no tolerance for cutting corners on reliability. We hire people we trust and hold everyone to the same high standard.

09

Is there a path to grow beyond this role?

Yes. SA Media is an active portfolio of ventures, media assets, and client engagements. Strong performers gain access to broader technical leadership, more complex scopes, and opportunities across the business that extend well beyond a standard engineering role.
